In the tense 72 hours before D-Day, with the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, the film follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower and chief meteorological officer Captain James Stagg. They face an impossible choice: launch the largest and most dangerous seaborne invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether. Stagg must deliver a precise weather forecast while dealing with conflicting reports from other meteorologists, putting immense pressure on the leadership team.
