I HEAR THERE'S A PARTY HAPPENING IN HELL - LET'S GO!
The Can-Can! Moulin Rouge! Spoofing both mythology and the foibles of man. Offenbach's smash-hit operetta promises to be one hell of a party. Eurydice tired of bickering with annoying husband Orpheus, decides it might be fun to party with the Gods below and takes off with Pluto… raucous fun, mortals in love, gods in disguise, lively tunes, and that famous dance ensue!
This new production, directed by Stephen Antony Brown, brings this wonderful operetta to life. It is fully staged with fabulous costumes and sung in English. Kentish Opera's impressive chorus return with professional soloists and orchestra conducted by Robyn Sevastos. The costumes are designed by Carol Stevenson.
